Fitting and removing batteries

When replacing the batteries, both batteries must always be replaced.

Operating sequence to remove the batteries.

1 Park the cart – main key switch to OFF position. 2 Remove any attachments or superstructure. 3 Release the screw connections on the battery compartment lid (6) and lift off the lid. 4 Disconnect the negative poles. Insulate the poles and terminals against possible contact. 5 Disconnect the positive poles. Insulate the poles and terminals against possible 6 Carefully remove the batteries.

Spent batteries must be disposed of in a recycling / disposal facility that avoids harm to the environment. They must not be disposed of in domestic waste.

Operating sequence to insert the batteries. 1 Park the cart – main key switch to OFF position. 2 Carefully insert the batteries. 3 Connect the positive poles to terminals. 4 Connect the negative poles to terminals. 5 Secure the battery compartment lid in place and tighten fixing screws. 6 Start the cart in accordance with the start–up sequence.
